- Ronnie JBeen in Houston for 4 years and it's the best place we've been to. Had a few bad days in a row and went here and it just all faded away! Shout out to the chef and servers! Went twice on the same day its so good.
kinjotxEating Menudo for Sunday brunch. Pork stomach and intestines cooked super tender, if you don’t know what Menudo is. They serve it and Pozole on weekends only. It comes with heaping trio of chopped cilantro, onion and jalapeños, small cups of hot chili flakes and Italian herb mixes with tortillas of your choice. I opted for corn. I squeezed a generous amount of lime first and threw everything on the plate into the hot red soup. When I made two tacos, first tried with the salsa verde. I decided that’s over kill and the second one was sprinkled with some salt. It tasted great without offending smell 🙂 It’s a great way to start a Sunday! And my server Maria was friendly and professional. They seem to be all bilingual. I’ll return for Pozole.
- Catina MOne of Houston's Best Kept Secrets...I went there only because it was convenient. To my surprise, upon entrance the restaurant atmosphere was very warm and inviting. Everything is very clean and pleasant smiles are found on the faces of the cashier, waitress and kitchen staff. I ordered enchiladas for take out, the food was AMAZING!!! I came back the next morning for breakfast, the service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the coffee was HOT!!! I'm on my way there now, the prices are so reasonable I have ordered take out also for lunch.
