- Monica YLike chilaquiles? Eat here. Authentic, and they can make it vegetarian style. Scrambled eggs are perfectly cooked, red sauce is flavourful. Best chilaquiles I've had in a long time and I've been trying many places!
- Abby LComing from California, home of the best Mexican food lol, this wasn’t the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had, but it was SO tasty!!! I’ve been living in Central Texas for almost 2 years now, and the Mexican food is horrible!!!! This place was such a breath of fresh air, and I also ordered the pastor tacos with the homemade corn tortillas. Just like home 🤤 and I couldn’t be more happy!! One thing I miss the most about Cali is the tacos lol, and La Salsita really hit the spot for me! Should’ve known I had to come to H Town for that lol. Also the ladies who serviced me were VERY sweet and attended to me immediately upon walking up to the counter. My food took between 10/15min to wait and they were already a little busy. I will most definitely be back!!!!
kinjotxEating Menudo for Sunday brunch. Pork stomach and intestines cooked super tender, if you don’t know what Menudo is. They serve it and Pozole on weekends only. It comes with heaping trio of chopped cilantro, onion and jalapeños, small cups of hot chili flakes and Italian herb mixes with tortillas of your choice. I opted for corn. I squeezed a generous amount of lime first and threw everything on the plate into the hot red soup. When I made two tacos, first tried with the salsa verde. I decided that’s over kill and the second one was sprinkled with some salt. It tasted great without offending smell 🙂 It’s a great way to start a Sunday! And my server Maria was friendly and professional. They seem to be all bilingual. I’ll return for Pozole.
